Usb port don´t work, if you connect this says "no se reconoce dispositivo usb" but sometimes this work perfectly

it happened probably due to a virus. Has you scan your computer with anti virus. I suggest you use the Kaspersky virus remover tools. If the problem on your usb ports are still repeated, it is possible that you put things like USB cable, pen drive or the like that is put into the usb port or usb you probably can not be fully functional.ways to overcome this problem is much better to install a USB card to pci slot on your motherboard.

Is there a way to attach mutimedia card reader to gateway micro atx motherboard

I'm not sure which model number you have, but you are able and have USB ports on your computer, then the answer is yes. You can do it two ways: One way (simplest way) is to buy an external multi-reader that plugs into a USB port. The second (More permanent), is when you open up your case and look at your motherboard, you should see a white cable that is connecting to your front-mounted USB ports. Follow it back to the motherboard and see if you have another slot to put another cable in for you multi-reader (and make sure you have a spot available in the front of your case to put the multi-reader). If you don't have a spot, or another plug, then go to newegg.com and buy an internal reader with at least one or two USB ports, and replace your existing front USB port.

GA-8S650GXM FOR USB FRONT AUDIO PANEL

You will need the motherboards manual to help you with connecting USB_1, USB_2 and F_PANEL audio to you're case. If you do not have you're manual for the GA-8S650GXM you can download it from Gigabyte; http://america.giga-byte.com/FileList/Manual/motherboard_manual_8s650gxm_series_e.pdf
You will also need Adobe reader installed to view the manual.
Gigabyte GA-8S650GXM main web site; http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Spec.aspx?ProductID=1658
Turn to page 18. Number 17, F_USB1/F_USB2. Use the link provided below to help you connect you're front case USB wires to the motherboard; http://www.directron.com/installusb.html
Turn to page 24, for front audio connections. Keep in mind once you configure you're audio to function from you're cases front audio port you will not be able to use the rear audio port. Caution, most people find bumping any front case USB or audio cords break far too easely. To avoid breaking the front audio port, consider using a Y splitter for the rear audio port as shown in the next link; http://shopping.yahoo.com/p:StarTech.com%20MUY1MFF%20Audio%20Video%20Cable:1991733360;_ylt=Ah94ikZN9zDbTi2.arc45BkbFt0A

Hope you find this helpful.

When i plug in my memorycard adapter into the usb ports .the baloon says i need a hispeed usb host controller.

The memory card you have is for a USB2 configuration and the USB port configuration or port you are using is USB1 configuration.
Try a different port or check the manual for port layout or description.

Problem with USB port on Asus P5KPL-AM SE Motherboard

Older motherboards have USB 1.1 ports;
newer motherboards have USB 2.0 ports,
which are over 10 times as fast.

It is Windows (not your motherboard) that should do the "Plug-and-Play" thing for devices connected to your USB port(s).

Note that some devices are USB 2.0, and will *NOT* work when plugged-in to a USB 1.1 port.

Either get a newer motherboard, or get a PCI add-on card that adds USB 2.0 ports.

PS 2 port problem

What is the model number of your motherboard? VIA does not make Processor's/CPU's.
VIA makes chipset's for motherboards.
In order to answer your question I'll need the manual for the motherboard. No manual listed here: http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/mainboards/others/p4xb_m.jsp

Here is a picture of the VIA P4XB-M motherboard. This model can not use DDR2 memory. (Only, 184pin PC2100 DDR266 DIMM)
Found here: http://www.upgradecomputermemory.com/ram.cfm//memory/V/VIA-Technologies/P4XB-M-Motherboard/256MB-VIA-Technologies-Desktop-184pin-PC2100-DDR266-DIMM.html

VIA P4XB-M
http://www.via.com.tw/download/mainboards/4/11/P4XB-M.pdf

99.0% of motherboards still use PS2 ports. One colored purple for the PS2 keyboard female port, back side of the MB & the other colored light green, female port, back side of the MB PS2 mouse port. By default, most motherboards have the jumper for PS2 keyboard enabled. Location for this two-pin jumper varies from board to board.
A USB port looks like this:
http://www.rickysays.com/images/usb-port.jpg
The PS2 port's are found in the upper left hand corner of this same picture. This next link will show how to connect USB motherboard jumpers including their wire locations. (Standard for most motherboard USB connections).

Front usb ports

Follow the interior cabling of the front usb port to the Mb where its pluged in. Checking the cable as you go.
You'll need your manual for this. The pins are not in the correct order for "your" board.
