Question about Directed OHD1040 Car DVD Player
When I turn off the SUV pull the key open the door, the player is still running. Took it to be looked at and they said the unit holding a charge on its own...and that I need a new player!
There are typicly two types of 12 + volt connections that could be made to this unit.
1. Constant = continouse 12+ volts
2. switched = Power is controled by the ignition switch.
There is a small internal battery inside that unit that is only used previde power to that units memory, and does not provide enough power to operate the player.
Its possable that the power supply needs to be changed to a switched circuit.
Hope this helps. Good luck...
