Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I need simplicity serger sl390 instruction.

This manual isn't available for free online. However, you can purchase a copy from a couple of vendors for ~$15. Look at http://www.sew4less.com/product/1233/Simplicity_SL370_and_SL390_Instruction_Manual or http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/instruction-manual-simplicity-sl390.aspx . Note: the SL370 and SL390 share a manual.

I hope this helps.

Simplicity 8220 thread not picking up bobbin

Be sure to use a brand new needle--old or bent/damaged needles frequently will not pick up bobbin thread.

If that does not resolve the problem, the machine has most likely been knocked out of time. Search for sewing machine timing or take it for service.
