It seems that your system infected by virus! Go to start, choose run, type inside of the run box: - shoutdown ------ if it couldn't help I strongly suggest you to install a good firewall (like kaspersky, Macafee, NOD 32)  and then update it and after all scan your system and restart it.
good luck

How to stop pops-up ?when I open my internet connection so many pops-up about malicious pictures

Most of the spyware programs on the Internet that will infect your computer log the websites you visit so that they can launch pop-ups and advertise products for you to buy.

If you have recurring pop-ups caused by spyware that appear whenever you connect to the Internet, you will need to completely remove the spyware causing the problem.

The most effective way to remove all spyware from your machine is to use at least two different antispyware programs while your computer is in safe mode so that the spyware cannot open itself.

Navigate your web browser to a website that offers a spyware removal utility such as "Spybot" or "Lavasoft Adaware".

http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html spybot

http://www.lavasoft.com/ lavasoft

Download and install the antispyware software.

Navigate to a second website and download a secondary antispyware utility.

Restart your computer and wait for the manufacturer's logo to appear on the screen.

Press the "F8" key repeatedly until a new menu pops up.

Scroll down through the list of options and highlight the entry labeled as "Safe Mode."

Open up the first spyware utility you installed earlier once the operating system has finished loading in safe mode.

Click on the antispyware utility's "Update Now" button at the left side of the window.

Wait for the program to finish downloading the latest spyware detection routines.

Disconnect your computer from its Internet connection either by unplugging its Ethernet cable or by powering off your wireless router.

Click on the "Search For Problems" button above the "Update Now" button.

Wait for the program to finish scanning your computer's hard drive for spyware, and then click on the "Remove Selected Problems" button.

Close down the antispyware program.

Reconnect your computer to its Internet connection.

Open the second antispyware utility you downloaded earlier.

Run the program's update feature and then disconnect your computer from the Internet again.

Run the program's scan, and then remove any problems it finds.

Reconnect your Internet connection and then restart your computer to finish removing the recurring spyware pop-ups from your PC.

Hope this helps

CAnnot go internet automatically

Hi,

If you are connection to the internet is wireless try this:

Go to the properties on your wireless adapter. In the "This connection uses the following items" box, unchecked the
internet protocol version6 (tcp/ipv6) box. Most routers don't support this protocol. Unless you have a N router. Then restart your computer. That how I fixed mine.

Hope this helps.

Internet connection problem in ubuntu

That depends on the modem and router settings. If you are using cable modem (a box connected to the cable from your internet service provider) without a router, you will need to set your computer to get a IP address automatically and restart the modem. Then you can renew the IP address if necessary. If you are using a router (another box) connected with the modem, then you might want to connect to the router by using the IP address on the same subnet as the internal interface of the router and enable DHCP. Then you can restart the modem and get an IP address for the router (usually you can see a button to click for that on the management page of your router after you open that in your browser, check the manual of your router about details). After that you can reconfigure your computer to use dynamic IP address and then renew IP address or restart. Please don't hesitate to post if you have questions.

I had installed internet download manager and registered it with a patch. Hower it didnt register and i got a message that the registry key is fake. I downloaded another Internet Download Manager but...

Hi there and welcome here

Try for your corrupted files to run "chkdsk", for that you need to highlight the drive where your files are stored (normally it is C:) and then choose properties, on the second tab you choose check this drive for errors and check all the possibilities and press ok to all. restart the computer and let the program run (it takes a little bit time to run, it have 5 sections to run). After the computer will restart and you can use it :O)

About Download Manager, i can recommend one, it is Free Download Manager, you can get it for free here :
http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/

I use it by my self and you can disable the auto download from the Manager when you only have to download small files. Actually I use it for huge files :O), otherwise I use the integrated download from IE 8 (Internet Explorer 8).

Hope it helps
Have a nice Christmas over there

How to fix remote connection?

It depends on the problem you are having.
Most often remote connection problems are caused by firewalls

Are you trying to connect across the internet or are your two machines on the same LAN.

Are you only running windows firwall or do you have a third party firewall installed.

I suggest you run off the firewalls first and try to connect on the LAN and then add things back in one at a time until you solve the problem.

There may be more than one thing blocking you.

I hope this helps

Computer won't restart or shut off

Hi,
I had the same problem & I'm running the same OS. It happened after an update too. This is what I did. I made a new shortcut on my desktop for shutoff & restart, I just use this shortcut now & it works OK. If you want to try it this is how I did it...

XP Users:
1. Right click the Desktop and select New /Shortcut.
2. A screen will appear asking you for a Command Line. Here's what you put in that box: ( it's best if you copy & paste this into the box)

For Shutdown:
Shutdown -s -t 0

For Restart:
Shutdown -r -t 0

Explorer problem

Hi

I suggest to restore the settings of your internet explorer to defaults. There could be bugs during your windows update.

1. Open internet explorer, go to tool --> Internet Options ---> Advanced tab ---> Reset.

Reset all the settings then restart your computer. In case you cannot open internet explorer because it will just give you a white blank page. try the following steps below.

1.1a Click Start -- type msconfig on start search box (for vista only). Click Run (for xp only). a pop up box window will show up (System utility configuration). Look for the tab Services.

Under services tab, put a check on the box that says "Hide all microsoft services" at the very bottom screen. Click apply then close. Restart the computer.

After restarting the computer follow step 1.

Keep me posted

Regards
