Question about Sharp R-820B Convection/Microwave Oven
I think it just needs a fuse but I don't know where to find it! Need manual instrutions! Sharp Carousel R-310AK Seriel # 105332 please help
The outer casing has to be removed, inside you will find a large fuse 10A> this protects the transformers and magnetrons, also you will find some smaller control circuit fuses, they are normally mounted on the circuit board at the rear of the control panel.

Yes, Sharp microwaves can blow the main and subsidiary fuses for no apparent reason. Be absolutely certain to replace them with the correct types - CPC sell them in the UK, they are cheap.
Eventually, I fixed a machine with this fault by lubricating the door triggers and microswitches with silicone grease and switch-cleaner aerosol, respectively. No further problems. Looks as if grime/oxide on the surfaces was causing transients.
