Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
My ps3 has been working fine for just over 1 year, then it suddenly has started to have trouble connecting to the controller, or the network. we have reset the router, reset the playstation, manually entered wep and wap codes, ssid, and gateway codes, also bought a new controller as we thought it was battery problems. Any new ideas? Please don't say move the ps closer to the router, I add, it was working well for 1 year, same router, same computer, same ps3. Any technical help appreciated. Pulling hair out now.
Since you're having both controller and wireless it might have something to do with your PS3's wireless hardware.
If both your controller and your internet work correctly while wired then that would help to confirm that.
Test to see if it makes a difference. If it works correctly then I would suggest replacing the part yourself. It's VERY easy to do.
Let me know what happens by rating my solution and then we'll go from there.
Best of luck!
