Question about HTC PPC-6800 Smartphone
I purchased a HTC PPC 6800 on company work plan in November, but got canned December 31.
I want to go on my husband's Alltel plan, but seeing as I paid $199 for the HTC, I really would like to keep existing phone to save money.
Can the HTC be converted to the Alltel network? If yes, How?
Yes, and No. Both companies want to see their cases on each phone (us cellular is actually blank). Alltel maintains a list of ESNs of all the phones they bought and sold in database. If your ESN aint there, they probably won't activate it.
But, the software for alltel versionof PPC6800 is located at htcamerica.com

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
