You have got to take off the top plendums you do this by undoing the 6.5 mm bolts and the clips to release the top then you will see the leads where the plugs are

On vectras they are hidden under a black plastic cover ontop of the engine, but you don't need new plugs for the mot

A spark plug is getting oil on it, i have a 1999 vauxhall vectra, what can i do

a honda, vauxhall? is that an engine swap???
all spark plug tips,
please do say, what end of spark plug is oily.
some cars have spark wells. and the top is full of oil.
do tell..... id need the engine displacement (or type ) to answer well.
oil on tips is bad.
what transmission> you have?
oil on tips can be from:
1: bad rings or valve guides.
2: PCV stcking in raw oil to induction (hoses routed wrong on PCV?)
I say one engine so filthy the oil head drains were blocked and the PCV was sucking oil.
3: A/T transmission ATF fluid, from the vacuum modulator (bad)
4: bad head gasket (do a compression test)

and the inane
we have what is called JibbyLube joints. (spelled wrong)
and these dorks, use high pressure air to blow in new engine
oil into the engine. and blast oil past the PVC in to the induction.
nothing but bad bad bad, can happen. even hyralocking a piston. (bent rods , horror)
or oil burning for 3 hours until the intake cleans out. and big white cloud out the tail

i think i hit them all.
no, cracked block or head.

I have a 2.5 v6 vectra b gsi just had a recent misfire changed spark plugs and ht leads but no change. Tried second coil packs and all show no fire on number 5. What else could be the problem?

This code I asume is P0305, this is a code that indicates that the cylinder power is below specs compared to other cylinders. The causes of this are many, ignition is just one of them. Does that cylinder have compression ( No more than 5% lower than the hightest reading on all other cylinders)

Spark plugs on a vectra

If it the 16v engine, remove the top engine cover. In the centre of the engine there is a long black coil pack, with a plug on the right hand side. Remove plug and the couple of bolts holding it onto the engine. Spark plugs are underneath.
