SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Monitor goes black, says no signal. Replaced monitor a week later I get same problem.

There are several possible causes, unfortunately replacing the monitor was probably not necessary.
The likely culprits are either, 1) Graphics card driver, 2) Faulty Graphics card or 3) Problems with the Windows installation (Faulty Registry).
1) is not too painful, depending on your technical expertise. You can try contacting your graphics card manufacturer and following any fault resolution they can provide. Removing the current driver in 'Add/Remove programs' found in 'control panel' and replacing with an older version if one is available on the manufacturers website might be worth a try. Or reinstalling the current driver, although a compatibility issue my be the issue with new driver, if the system was recently updated automatically or by you.
Identifying the route cause between the other two suggestions both come with potential costly or painful outcomes. Replacing the Graphics card (2) to find out it wasn't the issue is frustrating I can tell you from experience, and depending on your card might be costly. Likewise resolving the registry issue (3) is not for the faint hearted and 'expertise' doing this is essential. This is also likely to end up with having to reinstall the Operating System.
If you are confident to undertake (1) suggest you try that. However I would assume (Rightly or wrongly) for (2) or (3) you will need assistance form a local repair service.
Probably not the reply you are looking for, but many years of user experience has seen me sitting frustrated to early hours of the morning trying to resolve issues someone else could do for a reasonable price. One word of advice, get a price for diagnosing problem before handing over your equipment. Unfortunate I have heard some disappointing stories of disreputable people. If you are safe to do look for an 'at home' service. Always better to keep hold of the computer at home to avoid 'hostage' situations. Hope that helps and good luck.

I need a support number to talk to someone about my 19" monitor. My mointor is indicating out of signal, but I do have internet and my computer do work, I call HP first they walked me throught rebutting my...

Well, before you proceed with the Phone Support, please try the monitor on another computer, if it works, the problem isn't with the monitor, or if it isn't, first change the display cable.

If you need phone support, you can select the Phone Support from the FixYa home page instead of free assistance, there's another option as Premium assistance.

If you have problem, let me know.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

How do i remove run.dll2 from my computer?

Hi,

Rundll.exe files are programs that are directly tied to the registry on Windows computers. Dynamic Link Library (DLL) files contain libraries of information used by other programs running on your computer. They were originally created in order to help computer programs run faster on the Windows operating system. When a DLL file is corrupt or missing, a Rundll error will be generated. Normally when a rundll error is generated it is related to malware.

  1. Note the process that is generating the Rundll error by examining the last file name in the error that ends in ".dll."
  2. Open the service configuration program on your computer by selecting the "Start" menu and typing "command" in the search text field. At the DOS prompt type "services:msc" and click "Enter."
  3. Select the DLL service from Step 1. Right click the service name followed by the "Stop" menu button. Exit the service configuration program.
  4. Open your computer's registry editor by typing "regedit" at the DOS prompt and navigate to the Rundll registry key by typing "Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" in the Search field.
  5. Select the registry key returned and in the value associated with the registry key, confirm it ends in the same DLL file name found in Step 1. If it does, single left click the value and Press the "Delete" key. Exit the registry editor.
  6. Restart your computer and the Rundll error will be corrected.

Good luck!

Out Of Range

It means the LCD does not like the resolution or refresh signals from your video card. Try a resolution like 1024 x 768 at 60 or 72 Hz refresh.

Probably the LCD panel itself has gone bad. The tab board in usally the problem. The welds between the glass and board go bad.

DO YOU MEAN WONT SWITCH FROM ANALOG TO DIGITAL!!!

THE ONLY WAY THIS WILL CHANGE IS IF YOU HAVE A DIGITAL INPUT SOURCE CONNECTED to this mointor like HDMI AS THIS MOINTOR AUTOMATICALLY SENSES ANALOG SIGNALS AND DIGITAL INPUT SIGNALS if a digital signal is available it will switch over if a digital input singal is not available you will only be able to use the analog option

You need a new backlight or inverter board. To check for a new lamp, shine a bright light at the front of the monitor and see if you can see an image.
