I've tried with the onboard vga.Did'nt make any difference. Remove and put back all the memory. No change. Remove the modem(pci) and the sound card(audigy 2) and even unplud both dvd. Didn't made any change. The ABCD lights in the back are working but the A and D stay yellow for secons and the A become green. The D stay yellow and sometime I have 2 beeps. I have cleared the cmos and I have remove the battery. I en=ven have install temporarelly my raptor hardrive in it . Did not make any change!!!!
Here there other test or element that I should verify?
My name is ArmyMason, let me get this straight. You have a Dell Dimension 4700 and the Monitor isnt working with the PC? This could be one of two things. Either the monitor is bad, to test this I would connect it to some other computer to verify its not the monitor. It could be the video card. According to Dell it the light combo you gave me indicates their is an issue with the floppy or hard drive and you should check to see if all the cables are correctly seated on the motherboard and on the Drives.
I really think it could be an issue with the video card. To resolve this I would consider purchasing a new card or rip one out of an old know good computer to see if that is the issue.
