Question about Philips SA5145 MP3 Player
Hi, does anyone know of a hard reset routine to un-freeze my Philips SA5145 MP3 player. It worked fine until the Philips Device Manager did an auto update of the firmware, now it's unusable (it freezes at the GoGear logo screen or 'updating device' screen), maybe the firmware is corrupted? (maybe due to Windows Media Player being open at the same time). I've tried all the repair procedures (hold +Vol key while connecting), and the reset pin on the rear of the set etc. but nothing works.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks
Try reflashing the firmware if you can find the older firmware that worked try that if not then try redownloading the new firmware but make sure that nothing like windows media player is running and see if that helps

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
