the chances are is that that data has been corrupted wen your ps2 freaked out, and both the ps2's cant read it as corrupted data, so it chooses not 2 show it on-screen. sorry dude, but ur game data is lost
good buddy,if your ps2 is pal then you can only play disc with the region 2 designation only,if you want your ps2 to play other region such as ntsc/uc U.S. or ntsc/j ***.you need to bring it to a certified techman for modding.thats the only way for you to dissolve this problem.
I am having the same problem with my PS2, but I have an HDD inside of mine. I am told this is a circuit problem inside the PS2 that doesn't allow the information to be transfered to the RAM.That's why you see “No Data” instead of the usual problem of “Disc Read Error”.I hate to say it, but it sounds like you are going to have to do the same thing I am about to do.Send it in to Sony and get it repaired.
I am also pretty sure this PS2 you are talking about is the large fat one, and not the slim one.
well, play it with any other cd, but u gotta clean the lens with a cotton ball first, if it still is not working then i am afraid the lense has gone bad and u gotta get it repaired... from a sony workstation.....
