Question about Canon PIXMA iP4200 InkJet Photo Printer
Hi there. I've seen this question posted a few times, but no responses. My PGBK5 still looks half full with ink, but will not print anything; the paper comes out blank. When I do a check nozzle, the black ink does not print with the other colors. I've done numerous cleans and deep cleans and still no ink. Any suggestion? Thanks. . . Lori L.
My Canon Primax ip4000 has stopped printing blue. I've tried deep cleaning and when I print a test page the blue 6c does not appear. Any ideas what the problem could be?

SOURCE: smeared lines
Okay, this was the problem I posted a few days ago. It's fixed now, so in case you have the same problem with smearing, here's what the help desk from Canon suggested: Open the cover and remove the ink cartridges. There is a gray lever in front of the cartridges. Lift this lever and the printhead can be easily removed.
Our printhead had a buildup of black ink on the surface. I carefully removed this with rubbing alcohol. I let the printhead dry and replaced everything. No more smearing. Imagine a help-desk that actually helped!

Maybe you need yo update your drives for it.
Go to the website of the manufacturer and see if you need to download something for it.
If not please feel free to reply and I will be more than happy to help.
Hope this helped
