Best supported processor for gaming?

For CPU upgrade it is hard to say without more information. These machines can have several different mother boards. Take a look at the mother board and find a Model number. With what you gave it looks like it runs a Pentium 4 641.

However, when systems get slow they may need a clean out. I use CCleaner to clean excess files and the registry out. But make sure to have a backup.

Other then this speed for gaming depends on what type of CPU, memory (RAM), motherboard, etc. that you have. There are so many products on the market, so exact details are needed to see what is slowing you down. Also, if frame rate, FPS, is an issue then, Do you have a video card that is not integrated on the motherboard?

Mx8734 laptop, system board replacment instructions. The brown connecor which holds the keyboard in is broken. Can just the connector be purchased without the system board. If the system board needs...

If you broke the connector, you have to get a new board. The connector is fastened to it.
If you opened up the case and can see the board, you generally have to remove all the stuff--connectors, modem, hard drive, CD, etc.
When you get everything unplugged, you will have to remove the screws and then lift the board out.
Pay attention to where the screws go--they are of different sizes.

Problem with ASRock P4i45GV

THANHTHHP, memory is very important to start computer. Some cpu's need a minnimum [a pair] 2 memory sticks
Do not plug the power supply ONTO the mother board. Do plug the a/c power cord in back of the power box, turn it on.Does the fan turn on [spin] and u feel air coming out? If fan is on, that is good. If fan is NOT on, that is not too bad because some power supply NEED to connected to the mother board for it to have a path. The power supply can SHOT DOWN if connected wrong or there is a short on or in the mother board. Look to see if ANY piece of metal, one of your screws fell in between metal contacts.,Did u put the computer together yourself? Look to see that the contacts [under the board] are NOT shorting where the screws that hold the mother board down to the chassie body

Ms9317e does not boot

you better go to last resource directly:

1. disassemble the system completely and take the mother out the case... Give it a perfect cleaning.
2. place the mother over a wood table or something like that (mother without anything but the cpu).
NOTE: if you are running onboardvideo do not connect external video board... if you are using external videoboard and do not have onboard video, you might have problems on the board... so you could need another one).
3. just connect RAM and power supply (the power supply must be out of case, placed over the table too and well connected to mother and to power line.
4. power on the system by jumping the pins on the motherboard... you can find them under the identification front pannel or something like that deppending on the model... just the pins that normally you attach to the cables that leads to the buttons on the front of the case. (use a screwdriver and do not touch anything on the motherboard with your hand if its connected to powerline).

then, and after trying vga adapter if you have one and trying rams one by one in different socks... you will know that if the system never boots up, you have hardware problems, either on mother, ram and less probably, power supply or very rarely cpu...

g luck, in this cases... better go live chat...
