Hi,
please call samsung technical support, if your old battery did get charged upto 100% but gave less backup and when you got this new battery and it shows upto 60% of charge that could mean that the new battery is faulty but the tech support can troubleshoot it better.

Why my samsung laptop n150 plus is only charging 80% still i put on charge after 80%?it only show green light after 80% which means that laptop not going to charge after 80%...WHY?

If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

I have 2 batteries for it and neither will charge. it is completely dead

Make sure the power cord works and the wall unit in which you plug it into works. If that does not change your problem come into contact with the computers maker and see if you can wing a new battery, double check to make sure that the leds in the computer are not broken too.

Before the screen went dead it said that the battery was running low. Now it doesnt work at all. The battery is quite new. Do you think its the A/C adapter plug that needs replacing?

Either your battery charger or connections or cable is bad or the charging circuit within the notebook has gone bad. Try another charger first.
