Question about HP Photosmart C5280 Printer
This is a bug in the C5280 software.
The one thing that worked for me was purchasing and downloading SureThing Disc Labeler at www.surething.com. Apparently it accesses the printer directly, bypassing the faulty driver.
Yes, it costs $30, but it was worth it to me to end hours of frustration. Also, you can download a 15-day trial version for free.

When you place the CD, you need to close the CD tray by pressing the button below the CD tray. Click on Start on the screen and go to my computers and see if you are able to see the CD. if you are on the net, we can chat online and i can guide you.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
