Question about Dishwashers
All drain cycles result in water still in the bottom including final rinse. I checked the drain hose and it doesn't seem to be clogged. With the drain hose disconnected from sink and in a bucket, water barely comes out. Any ideas? Thx
My Whirlpool DU931SCGQ1 quit draining completely after 2.5 years. I have to hit the "cancel/drain" button twice to get all the water out. I've checked the drain and hoses, no visible problem. I can live with it, but it is an inconvenience that I would like to fix since I will be selling this house soon. I've already had to rebuild my Whirlpool water heater--what gives with these guys?
Check the drain pump, it's located behind the toe panel near the front of the machine. Also pull the lower spray arm and filter screen, see if anything is stuck in the sump.

White film deposits are observed if water is hard or when you are using more detergent than needed, try filling detergent cup half way. Try using white vinegar after the wash cycle is complete, run a complete cycle. Also turn down the heat on the hot water fed to the dishwasher. Try using water softener for better results.
You can also add vinegar in the final rinse cycle. Make sure that your soap dispenser drawer is opening and closing fine.
