Open your web browser and press your "BlackBerry" button, scroll down to "Options" folder and click it.. After opening the options menu, click on the first option labeled "Browser Configuration". After opening your browser configuration folder, scroll all the way down until you get to "Home Page Address". From here you can enter your new home page manually or you can just select the "Use Current" option that will make your Home Page the last mobile site you were on before you pressed your BlackBerry button.. u should have an active blackberry services BIS / BES enabled on your number.
if not then there is a back door. first ask any of ur frined who is having a bb services to insert his sim in your hand set.and ask the service provider to sent service books ( configuration files) they ll be installed on the hand set as he is having an active bb services sim on it. and then u try putting ur sim on it and try browsing ( the both nos should be of service provide and both of same either pre or post paid. as prepaid and post paid bb settings can be different.

This might be because of The BlackBerry Internet Browsing service book is corrupt or because of The BlackBerry smartphone user is not provisioned for BlackBerry Internet Browsing Service.
For BlackBerry Internet Browsing service book is corrupt. Follow thw step's:-
1) Clear the service book database. 2) Perform a hard reset by removing the battery from the BlackBerry smartphone and then reinserting the battery into the BlackBerry smartphone. 3) On the BlackBerry smartphone, go to Options -> Advanced Settings and from the Host Routing Table, click the menu key to select Register Now.
For BlackBerry smartphone user is not Activated for BlackBerry Internet Browsing Service. Follow the step's:-
Contact the wireless service provider and have the BlackBerry Internet Browsing Service added to the BlackBerry smartphone user's account.

first of all activate gprs by sending am message bsnl... ask customer care for the details
then for the settings
go to options------>advanced options------>scroll down to tcp......
enter settings as...apn. . : gprssouth.cellone.in
username for apn : ppp
password : 1111
apn names change from zone to zone nnote it down from another phone or ask customer care ....
