Lets start at connections. What is your cable source? Do you have a converter or cable box connected to your TV?
YES : You must have two connections, so you will need to run a second coax cable from the wall. This can be a $10 fix and a 15 min hook up. (Ask if needed). You will also have to be using your TV through caox inputs (TV Source on TV)
NO: You will need a second line ran and hooked up to your TV input. (Ask If need specific hookup on model)

Close the door or power down the tv in the other room to make adjustments to the main tv, I don't think there is a way to change the sensitivity of either screen you must shield your remote and its reflections from the other set I guess. have fun with that :)

On the remote control, press and hold the RM SET UP
While holding down the RM SET UP button, press and release
the A/V I/O button.
Release the RM SET UP button.
Press the input (component) button to be controlled.

First of all check the remotes. You can easily check the remote is it working or not. Justpoint the remote to a digital cameras or a mobile camera and press any button . If the remote is functioning then you can see a white light blinking.
If the remote is working , then the IR receiver of your TV have some problem. you can find the IR receiver it the frond pannel pcb of your tv. i have added a picture of ir receiver. will help you to find out the same. if you need any more assistance feel free to contact me throughfixya.
Go into the menu. Go to CHANNEL and press enter. Go to AUTO CH MEMORY and press enter. Press the right arrow on remote to change the signal type to AIR. Go down to AUTOMATIC SEARCH and press enter. Wait for it to finish on its own. You should have all the analog and digital channels you can get with the antenna setup you have connected to the tv.
