If thats the case on the final output when u see on pc then my friend

ur CCD is getting weak and these lines will increase in the coming days and will turn pink or purple and distorted , there is no cure for that unless u change ur CCD i will recommend a new one

movie is a different thing it is moving thing or there might be cmos engine for that in ur camera for movie thats why it is not visible in movie u never know if it is using CMOS engine for movie and CCD chip for Photos but u see samsung are not famous for cameras, but this line thing starts as a CCD failure symtoms ,

see when u see the pic on lcd it is not actually captured but when u click the shutter button it actually cap pic data and CCD then process that data to form a picture and then store it on memory card

    try these as well

1.format the Mem Card and try
2.Check pics are they discolored like white is becoming pink
if u come in sunlight they become like washed out or white or just lines on it
    3. images are lacking detail they are blurry not sharp as they were in the past
    4. are the batteries supplying full power to the camera i mean they are in good condition , flash is working ok.

bcoz batt usage increase when u press shutter button and flash also fires at that specific time together with CCD asking for more power to process

let me know with these checks

There are horizontal lines are showing in the lcd after taking the picture, the model is EXILIM camera EZ700

It could be a number of things, most likely a ribbon cable needs re seating. Check if the lines are actually appearing on the image by looking at the image on another screen. You then have to weigh up whether you are prepared to strip down the camera and check the cables. If the lines don't appear on the photo but only on the screen I would be tempted to live with it, but it is most likely the ribbon to the rear LCD or the LCD itself if that is the case.
Good Luck

The problem with Canon PowerSHot S60 Camera.

Your image sensor might be faulty. It is what connects your LCD and the picture in the issue of the horizontal lines. have it checked. Try checking your aperture too.

Vertical & Horizontal Lines through all pictures.

There may be the issue with the CCD (image sensor device) of the Camera.

Refer this article to confirm this.

This sure looks like a CCD image sensor failure. If so, you can't fix this yourself. If the camera is less than a year old, Canon will fix this for you under warranty. Call 1-800-OK-CANON.

Photos have horizontal lines

Ok, first of all......when you transfer the pictures to a computer are the blue lines still in the picture? Also if you reset the camera does the image still come out white?

A lot of times what happens is that there is nothing wrong with the actual picture it is the lcd. When you transfer the picture it looks ok you are only seeing the blue lines on the lcd. That means that the lcd is going out. If you transfer the picture and the blue lines are still in the picture after transfer then we can try to reset the camera as there is something else going on besides the lcd. More that likely it is just an lcd that needs to be replaced.

With a white image that usually means that the white balance is off on the camera. I would recommend resetting the camera and then try retaking some pictures to see if they are still coming out white. If they are then you would have to send the camera in to be repaired.
