Hi there, My name is Rob and I can help you. Do this:

Make sure the camera is off and pull out the SD card. Look on the side of the card. You will see a little switch. One side says locked (or shows a little picture of a locked lock) the other side says unlocked (or shows a little picture of an unlocked lock). Make sure the switch is in the unlocked position and reinsert it properly into the camera.

This will fix your problem. Thanks for coming to FixYa. Let me know if I can be of anymore help. Don't forget to rate my answer a fixya!

I put my pics on my computer, then i put the card back into the camera and tried to erase some of them but now they all say protected frame. How do I fix this?

Did you make any changes on the card when you had it in the computer? It could just be that the card is no longer compatible with the camera. this can usually be resolved by formatting the card on the camera itself. Unfortunately, this will delete all the images on the card so make sure you back it up first. Hope this helps!

When i try to delete a photo it says 'Protected Card' How can i take this off?

SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

My memory card is completely empty, all photos

You need to reset the file-numbering.
Turn mode-dial to Set and turn on the camera. Select Frame No. from the setup menu. Switch Frame No. to Renew. Press OK. Format the card (also from the Setup Menu) After formatting, select Frame No. againg and switch to Cont. File numbers will now start from 100.0001 again

When trying to take photo it says ! Frame no.full

Clean your memory card. Format it. Try to use it again. If the problem persist try to use a different card. If the problem is solved then I think it is time to change your old card. After all these. If it is necessary feel free to ask a new question.

New xD M+ card won't work in the digital photo frame.

Alot of the digital photo frames will only display images up to a certain resolution. There is a good chance your camera resolution is too high for the photo frame. try change the settings on your camera to 3mp or so and take a few photos and see if they will display.

Protected card

i just had the same problem . so i removed the card from the camera. manually unlocked the card ( there is small swtich on the side ) and inserted in my laptop memory card reader. from there you can save the pictures.
but i am stillnot able to use the same card on my camera again. looks like when i insert the card inlock posiiton, it still gets locked while inserting. somethings goin wrong with the card reader slot or maybe its time to get a new card. let me see.

SD card Protected

It sounds like the tiny locking switch on the SD card has accidently been set to "lock". Remove the card from the camera and slide the switch to the opposite position. That should do it.

XD card

Most fuji cameras use xD cards, I have had similar problems with my Fuji, and had to use a repair program to fix the issue. Once corrupt, no amount of coaxing will fix them. You can get the software at:

www.cardrecovery.com

If you don't have any critical pictures, then buy a new xD card. But if you have important or sentimental photos buy the program from them. It works fantastic! Thanks for using Fixya!

Card Protected

If you read the manual there is a section on protecting frames. You should be able to go into the menu on the camera and unprotect all, which should allow you to then write new photos and remove old ones on the card.
