Batteries in keypad need replacing but i do not know how to access the batteries

Hi, There is a capacitor in the unit that holds a charge and saves your settings. You can find where to order the part, and some take apart pics here (not my page, just a link I found online): http://www.pbase.com/ociepka/750 Hope that helps you out!

Have just opened the same model -
First prise off the front and back "rubber" inserts - they should come unstuck quite easily. Then pull the bottom half of the case off the top half - it is held by 2 internal clips, one on either side of the inside black plastic casing - pull and wriggle and pull some more, and suddenly it will pop off.

It's a bit iffy, but if you go into the task manager (press ctrl-shift-esc) and look at the list of processes there will be one running called kbd.exe. This is HP's keyboard and mouse driver which, as far as I can tell, does very little but cause a world of pain. If you end the process (select kbd.exe from the list and hit the end process button at the bottom and confirm you want to when prompted) the warning disappears. Nothing else untoward seems to happen.
