turn off tablet and hold the volume up button and the home button together, then turn the tablet on ( keep holding the volume up and home button ) when tablet starts it will show you a secret menu, you can try rebooting it first from that menu and if it still dose not start do the same thing again but go for reset. ( this will wipe it clean, you will loose everything,so only do that as a last resort ) hope this helps
if it has not been dropped or water damaged you can try a factory rest ( loosing everything ) Turn off tablet and hold the volume up button and the home button together, then turn the tablet on ( keep holding the volume up and home button ) when tablet starts it will show you a secret menu, you can try rebooting it first from that menu and if it still dose the same thing,if it dose then repeat the steps again but go for reset. There are many things you might be doing wrong but slow battery charge is a problem with the new iPad. The battery is actually a lot bigger than the iPad 2 which means it is going to take you much longer to charge. Use the provided charger and don't charge from your computer. It is almost twice as slow to do it plugged into a computer. Charge it at night to give it the most time to charge as possible. I usually turn it off so programs don't run and slow down the charging speed. Every little bit helps. I can help you with other things too if you ask.
First of all you can check the battery if its empty. You can remove it first then put it back in then turn it on. If if doesn't turn on try to charge it first. There should be an indication that it's charging if the battery is working .
Best Suggestion: Because your device is a month old i'm sure that it's still under warranty. You need to bring it to the service Store where you purchase it and tell them the issue. You may ask for a replacement or they will fix it for you for free as a part of the warranty agreement
Note: Don't try to open the entire device yourself because it may void your warranty better bring to them right away.
Hope this help you a bit. Feel free to do a comment if this work or if you have something to ask. I'll do my best to reply to your message right away. ^_^
Unfortunately, once you crack any LCD screen, you can't really fix it. You can send it in to be professionally repaired, but that can be expensive. All you can do is bring it back to the store and see if they can replace it for you or if you have some sort of a warranty on it. I don't think there's any way for you to replace it without paying at least some money though. Sorry.
Hope that helped though! Please rate my solution! - Frankie
