Just from the file explorer select the file whichever u want to send with ur stylus for like 4 sec a menu will come up select beam file then ur device will switch on the bluetooth search for other devices to which u want to send the file to then that device will appear in ur list just tap and select the device from the list then send the file it will try to pair up ur device with the other device first put a code like 0 and on the other device also put 0 to finish pairing then ur file will be send press accept on the other side and go

check the option of "discoverable to other" option in ur blue tooth option then u'll be able receive data and ring tone...copy ur tones to mydevice\windows\rings..then u'll b able to set ringtones...also may b ur mp3 tunes will not work..if not then u have to conver it to .wav or .arm..
just switch on the blutooth of the device and make ur device visible to others in bluetooth settings from where u switch on the bluetooth and then scan from other device from where u want to rec the file and then pair up ur both devices when it ask for code put 0 zero on both devices and then recieve the file there is no need to pair up again next time when u recv file from the same device
connecting the i-mate to computer using bluetooth is a good and a fast way and give you the an option to connect more than one device,
you can connect through bluetooth with this procesure :
step one: set up a bluetooth COM port :
1- Open the Bluetooth Devices Control Panel.
On the Options tab, select Turn discovery on and Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer.
2- On the COM Ports tab, click Add.
3- Select Incoming (device initiates the connection) and click OK.
4- Note the number of the COM port that was added. The COM port number must be no higher than 20.
5- Click OK to close the Bluetooth Devices Control Panel.
1- In ActiveSync on the PC, on the File menu, click Connection Settings.
2- Select Allow connections to one of the following.
3- Choose the COM Port with the number you noted in Step 1 Set up a Bluetooth COM port.
4- Click OK.
Step 3 Start Bluetooth sync from your device:
In ActiveSync on the device, tap Menu, then tap Connect via Bluetooth.
