Question about Dell Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition

Application rtl100.bpl every time i start my computer this pops up , what is it and do you know how i can get rid of it ? thanks

Click Start-----Run. Type msconfig. Go to Startup tab. Uncheck all item. Restart. Go to msconfig------startup tab, check one and restart. Continue this until the problem appear. When problem appear just uncheck previously checked item and check rest of all. Problem solved.
This happens by any recently installed software. Try to detect and uninstall it. Notify us.

Click on Start--Run type MSCONFIG click on Startup from top.. locate file with rtl100.bpl uncheck click OK and exit. next time it will not run.

Hello!!

Insert ur XP cd and boot it thro the cd and enter the repair console and try FIXBOOT command .. or try the other method .. run msconfig .. and disable the error in startup menu .. thanks for using fixya!!

    If the error is that Rtl100.bpl is not found then you can try the following:
    Go to start ,run, and type the following:

    iexplore -extoff

    And see it that stops the error.
    If not, try repairing the system files by typing the following in the Run box:

    sfc /scannow

    This issue caused due to a start up item from spysweeper
    you can remove that entry from registry.

    Start - run - type regedit

    it will open up registry editior go to the below location and remove the entry and restart the computer it should fix the problem

    You need to install .net 2.0....evidently you have an application trying to access it. You can find it by doing your Microsoft updates.
