The fuel line goes to the back of nozzle and the air line goes to the front.the air line and fuel line are not clear on that unit.sounds like some one changed them.also the fuel filter goes in the unit backwards from what the arrow shows.check your air pressure.you need to put a gauge on it so it is correct.

Check out on the nameplate on Reddy Heater how many amps it draws and what size circuit is needed.

Kerosene heater - will ignite and burn with the cover off. when cover is replaced the heater quits. it is a reddy pro 155 (155,000 btu)

It shoulds like it could be an air flow problem. I suggest you get on the manufactures website at www.desatech.com . They offer service manuals for these heaters. I hope this helps you!

Check your fuel filter,, could be running out of fuel, due to obstruction in fuel delivery system. Either crud in the tank clogging up the pickup,,or maybe even water in your fuel. Your filter might be it,,have you been running diesel?? check it out....

Pro 110, runs 10 min., blows white smoke ,shuts off

the first thing you need to do is go back to useing K1 kerosene, diesel fuel not only burns dirty but also has a tendency to gel up in cold weather which could be makeing it hard for the heater to draw the proper amount of fuel. To reset the pressure you will need a gage, it should run at about 6-7 psi. you can order a pressure gage from mr. heater online, they are by far the cheapest I have found as they are the actual manufacturer or call 1-800-251-0001

WONT FIRE

have you cleaned the air inlets? I have a older (1970's) reddy heater, occasionally it starts getting smokey or not firing at all. I open up where the air filter is and clean out the chamber with carb cleaner; gets the old girl firing up nice again.
