Ricoh 2018D I HAVE BIG PROBLEMS WITH NASHUA ricoh 2018D I TRY TO PUT THE FAX WORKING BUT NOW THE COPIER IS NOT WORKING ONLY EJECT PAPER WITH ONE FAX REPORT SAYING JOB IN PROGRESS AND GIVE ME ERROR TO OPEN THE FRONT(B) OR RIGHT(A) DOOR TO TAKE PAPER AND ONLY HE GIVE ME ERROR AND MY CLIENT IS STARTING GET FURIOUS WITH ME AND THINK IF I RESET WILL BE NICE AND HE GONA START WORK WITH THE DEFAULTS SETHINGS BECAUSE NOW I CANOT ACCESS THE FAX SETHINGS ON THE MENU

    if you have a key operator code you can reset it by going to 7-810-001 in the service menu and after that you should just turn it off from the user tools and again you will be able to enter the fax features

    Excuse me? Please don't use CAPS.
    Do you mean that you just installed the fax unit into the copier which had been working properly, and now nothing works? I need some clarification here?
    If you can't access the fax settings on the menu, then something is not installed properly, or something has shorted out - 1 of the 2.

Press [user tolls/counter] and then before you press the system features press it and hold the [#] button and while you hold the [#] button press [OK] the copier will ask you do you want to return the setting to default or not.
This procedure you may make and for the fax setting and for the printer settings.
After this the machine will bring the settings to the default

Disabling Auto-Print of Communication Result Report


It's in the "user parameters" in the "fax features" menu. No disrespect, but it's a needlessly complicated setting (all of the parameter settings are if you aren't familiar with Ricoh).

Wrong Settings on Ricoh 2018d Nashua


1.Press [user tools/counter] key .
2.Press and hold it pressed [#] key.
3.While you hold down pressed the [#] key press [OK] than the copier will ask you do you like to return the settings to default or not.
This procedure you will have to repeat to all the features.
example : [system features] or [fax features]
remember while on the display writes [fax features] you should hold it pressed the [#] key and while is pressed he [#] key press the [OK] key ones .

Printing Problem


Try changing the paper setup of the printer driver, from the Start menu - Printer and Faxes.
Select portrait and click apply.

Fax confirmation


Hi TUlsi The majority of fax machines will do this, I know as the ones i use in DHL are the same when i contacted the company Cannon they advised that it could not be disabled. Which give the solution, All faxes are different and you will only know how to disable it by contacting the manufactures support. I agree full it is anti enviromently friendly and a waste of ink
