Internal speakers won't turn off when external audio is connected

Normally , you would expect the TV sound to stop when headphones are plugged in. Obviously not in this case. If you have a set of headphones, try them and see if the TV still has speakers on. If it does, then there may be a setting on the setup of the TV to get headphones to work. If the TV speakers stop, then I would think that the Logitech are not compatible with the TV. The only other thing would be is to get into the TV and disconnect the TV,s own speakers. If the wires are soldered on and not terminal connected, carefully cut 1 of the wires off near the speaker. If 1 wire is cut, the speaker wont work. Make sure both the TV and the additional speakers (If they have their own power supply) you are using are unplugged from the power before you go doing this...!

No sound at all

Run through your menu settings to see what should be working, and not muted or in functions not being used. Otherwise have it checked by a technician, it may a power supply out or a bad digital sound processor board. Also check your speaker cords, they may be shorting, putting your unit in output shutdown protection.

Goes to standby no sound onkyo surround sound sr506

It is possible that the set has gone to a protect mode as there was some errors within or from an overloading. If you can switch off power and remove supply for few hours so as to reset the amplifier error , it will reset the processor.
If not remove all the speakers and test the amplifier, if the amp switches on then check each speaker using a 1.5 V AA cell or a multimeter.
This will confirm if the speakers are defective. If not the fault is within the amplifier and will require skill to test the power supply and boards.
Take consensus.

Tthe sound wont play on my new vizio 3d tv

  1. Check your connection from the TV Audio output to the Bose Input, and make sure the TV is not muted.
  2. In the TV's Sound/Audio menu, configure the TV to output the sound to External Speakers, not the internal speakers.
  3. Make sure the Bose system is powered on, and not muted.

Power supply may be burned out. These can be replaced but your local Panasonic service center will identify and correct any other lingering problems. (cooling, shorts, and general cleaning) Try thier support center website under the web address once you get on the main panasonic site.

are you trying to use the surround sound for movies or music ? , ive got the dvd version of this system (sc-dv290) and ive noticed the surround sound tends not to perform well with music , but sounds great with movies. i think its because the movies have dolby digital and music does not. The dolby pro logic in my opinion doesnt really make that much of a difference in sound unless the sound is cranked up past 44db on the amplifier. the only cables you need are the ones that are attached to the surround sound speakers and they cannot be removed so it cant be the wiring . I reckon you have a 1 - faulty system 2 - listening to music 3 - maybe not pressing the pro logic button on the sound processor. Hope this helps

Panasonic SA- AK 133 Music system sorround system not working

this is something a tech expert on electronics can handle. even replacing parts has to be attended by a pro-technician. something is wrong with your DSP processor or system components. it could be the switch only or it could be the processor.

Emerson AV101 System no sound

it could be one of two things.... the first is that the speaker selector is set to OFF. the other thing (also the more expensive one) is that there is a problem with the amp, and you either have a problem with the offset voltage on the output of the amp, or that the idle current in one of the output stages is too high. normally, a protection circuit monitors the output stages for these two faults, and if there's no problem, your speaker relay clicks in within 30 seconds of turning on the power. if there's a problem, the relay never clicks in. so first check your speaker selector. if it's done by "soft switching" (not a physical selector switch, but a microprocessor controlled relay) then you also could have a problem with the processor chip, or with the parameter storage memory (which sometimes uses a backup battery). sometimes the backup battery isn't a battery at all, but a very large (electrically, not physically) capacitor that keeps alive the parameter RAM. if the power is left off for more than 2 or 3 days, the capacitor will lose it's charge, and the stereo "loses it's mind". same thing if it's a dead backup battery. sometimes if the battery is marginal, you lose some settings, but not others or the settings get changed
