My TEAC(model #MC-DX32i)stereo system won't gain power to turn on

I have a TEAC Stereo System and I moved recently and i got into my new place and plugged it in and turned it on and the light on the subwoofer won't turn on which obviously made it so the dock won't turn on. Is it a piece of junk now? Is it fixable?

Laser assembly apparently is inoperative. Time to replace unit since repair is not cost effective.

My teac mc-dx50i subwoffer wont turn on and its even plugged in

About all you can do is to make sure it has power and input from the main system. Past that, the amplifier in the subwoofer is most likely damaged. For more information, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.

04 Nissan Sentra recently installed remanufactured OEM Rockford Fosgate stereo. Problem: CD player does not play, displays "error 1"

Sometimes CD players come with a plug that keeps the reader arm in place during shipping. If you don't remove this plug it doesn't allow the arm to move, thus a code. You might recheck this. If that's not the case, check your warranty papers, you might need to use them.

Did you make sure the harness was plugged securely to the back of the deck? Sometimes if you don't make sure it is snuggly plugged into the back of the deck it can come loose.

Have an older (6 + Yrs) VX-10A model, that's worked fine up until now. I recently moved, hooked up the same stereo and surround sound speakers, which worked fine, but the subwoofer made a loud hum as...

Disconnect the input and see if it hums in the absence of an audio source. A bad audio cable shield or unwisely-routed audio cables will allow entrance of unwanted signals from external power sources, magnetic fields, even dimmer-controlled track lights. Sometimes, simply reversing the orientation of the ac power plug can eliminate humming.
