The easiest way is to purchase an installation kit that is matched to your vehicle, and comes with a pigtail plug that inserts directly in to your existing radio connector, and the pigtail wires match up color for color to your new unit

Cut wires to radio in 1988 chevy now my brake lights and park lamps do not work

you need to get a vehicle repair manual, you not only cut the radio wires, you also cut more wires that go to other items. i would fix it soon before you short something out and burn your car.

Wiring diagram for a kenwood KDC MP232 to a 2003 chevy malibu

Aftermarket cd players are all universal and have the same colors. You need to go to your local car audio store such as walmart, bestbuy, ect and buy a wire harness adapter. Then all the wires are color coordinated to make it easy, just wire colored wires together and plug in. If I have helped please leave positive feedback. Thanks

VAN AUTO HOOK UP KD-HDR1

This radio can not use a common ground. If your speakers are all grounded together you will blow up the amp IC in the radio. The negative speaker wires run at about 6 or 7 volts and so do the positive speaker wires.

Trust me, run new speaker wires, do not common ground any of these speakers

If this was helpful a good rating would be appreciated.
