Kenwood ts-790a As this radio is out of production is it possible to still get it repaired? The LED Displays stopped working. Thanks Fred

Hi Marty, ..ok, baring anything else acting up, like a airplane before take off , if the audio was working then and not now , you have probably over looked something in pre flight, check all antenna connections, check the external spkr jack your plugged in to , check all buttons, make sure your on a real ch#, check your squelch adjust. and if you changed mikes , make sure its wired correctly for the radio, if there is any other possible human error it's unknown to me. nice radio...gd luck to you...

This is the recommended way to get a solution: join yahoo group specific to your radio Make/Model, give the expert team there as much info as possible regarding the issue with your radio and whilst there you can download manuals, schematics and other great stuff for your radio and it's free to join.

Yes Kenwood is a darn good brand, so to keep your Kenwood darn good, pay for the repairs, it's darn worth it.
