Question about Bosch 1600H-NG Natural Gas AquaStar AquaStar Natural Gas Tankless Water Heater...
While taking a shower our tankless water heater sporadically turns off, even the pilot light. It has happened 3 times now over about a 2 week period. Relighting the pilot will get it going again.
It is a Bosch 125B manufactured after Feb 2005..
I think it is the thermocouple since it turns off the pilot as well as the main burner. It could also be the gas valve.
These parts are expensive and non returnable so I would like to get it right the first time.
Take the thermocouple out and match it up at any hard wear store. Maybe $10. Replace it .Make sure the flame is clean and hitting the rod in the center center. Ajust (Bend) accordingly.
