Viewsonic PJ513DB DLP Projector projects upside down
My Viewsonic PJ513DB is ceiling mounted and projects upside down, but I can't find the reverse imaging or invert function on the menu. Any ideas where this is located.

Double check which menu item you are expecting to find the orientation. It might even be under 'image', 'settings', or its own button not in the menu, Jon.

Hi, Your projector is probably set for ceiling mount which will project an upside down image because the projector is normally mounted upside down when installed on the ceiling. Go into the menu and select extended then select projection then select front. That should return the image to right side up.
You turn the unit upside down.

Go to the menu.
Go to management.
Go to Projection Mode.
Front Projection-Desktop: If you want it to project right side up off a table. Front Projection-Ceiling Mount: If you're hanging it off a ceiling.
Go to Menu> Extended> Projection> select Front ( to project from the front of the screen ).Front/Ceiling ( If the projector is mounted upside-down from the ceiling ). Rear ( to project from behind onto a transparent screen ).Rear/Ceiling ( to project from behind when the projector is mounted upside-down from the ceiling ).
Go to Menu> Extended> Projection> select Front
( to project from the front of the screen ).Front/Ceiling ( If
the projector is mounted upside-down from the ceiling ). Rear (
to project from behind onto a transparent screen ).Rear/Ceiling (
to project from behind when the projector is mounted upside-down from
the ceiling ). Or you can hold down the [A/V Mute] button for about 5 seconds to change the projection setup from Front to Front/ceiling or Rear to Rear/Ceiling.
Projectors, in general want to project the bottom of the image 1 foot above the lens at a typical range. When mounted upside down, they project the top of the image 1 foot below the center of the lens. If you don't want to turn the projector over, you'll have to change the angle and probably go to the extreme on the keystone correction.
