Question about GE WSXH208A Front Load Washer
When running a normal wash cycle, the unit started buzzing several times and then did nothing. Remaining time on the cycle showed 1 minute.
The buzzing appeared to come from the door locking mechanism. I powered it off and put it in the "drain & spin" cycle. It appeared to try to lock again. The "DOOR LOCK" indicator light would go on and off. I verified the door would open both when it indicated "DOOR LOCK" and when the indication light was off.
I then unplugged the unit. When I plug it back in, the "DOOR LOCK" indication flashes after ~10 seconds, stays off for about 20 sec, comes on for about 5 seconds, stays off for about 20 sec, then stays on. While in this condition, and about 2 minutes after initially plugging it in, the drain pump comes on and doesn't go off (I have left it on for ~ 5 minutes, but didn't want to go longer than that for fear of burning up the pump).
Help if you have suggestions! Thanks!

SOURCE: Humming and not filling?
had the same problem this morning, turned out the pump on the drain side had frozen, took it apart, and broke free the fan, humming stopped, washer back up and working. Its two screws to the bottom of the washer, two electrical connection (white and black) two hoses to undo, and three screws on the pump itself, after actually committing to doing it, only took about 10 minutes.

SOURCE: GE washer: door won't unlock
We had the same problem and there is a wiring harness right at the door and I guess over time closing the door or the vibration from the spin cycle worked it loose. It would click and click like it was trying to lock but then the cycle would not start and it would just humm like it was trying to start the water. Make sure before you start to unplug the washer. The harness plug is on the side of the drum right at the door. If you take the bottom panel off and take the bottom two screws out and pull the panel out as much as you can you can see it there on the side. Just plug it back in and you are good to go.

I also have the same problem. I have got it to work by unplugging for a day and night. When I plug it in the next day it works like new for a couple days and then back to the same old "door locked" problem when the door isn't locked........BIG HEADACHE!!!!

you would need to go into the fault codes and read them. the tech sheet should be under the lid or in the kick panel
