Question about Canon Office Equipment & Supplies
Here’s a problem that arose recently. I hope somebody can help with it.
Briefly, my Canon Pixma iP4300 will print one picture and then refuse to print more unless I shut the computer down and reboot. Then it will print another picture, and I have to reboot again to print another one. I have tried a few suggestions from relatives but nothing has worked, including uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.
Then I noticed a few days ago that after a print is produced, the print job remains in the print queue and seems to block further print jobs, which pile up underneath it. I’ve tried to delete the roadblock but the usual procedure - - select the file, click on Document and then on Delete, doesn’t work on the job at the top of the queue.
Clicking on Printer, then Cancel all documents, deletes the stuck print jobs but not the one at the top.
The printer has been well-behaved since I bought it about two years ago. I have no idea what I might have done to send it off the rails. The Help files don’t help.
I’d be grateful for any suggestions.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Printer failing to print
start --> run --> services.msc
press enter / click on ok
scroll down to print spooler and right click on it and click on restart and then go back into printers and faxes and right click on printer and cancel all documents or delete the print job
If that fails to work you may need to use the utility that came with your printer to cancel it - short of that you can just turn the printer off for about 5 seconds and back on.
