    The latest firmware?

    What firmware version is your router using and have you checked the Belkin website to see if your firmware IS the latest available.

From http://www.belkin.com/support/, type the Belkin part number “F5D7231-4” in the “Search” field. Click “Search”

From the results page, click “F5D7231-4”.

Scroll down to the Software & Updates section. Click on "F5D7231-4 Firmware Update".

Locate the firmware that corresponds to you routers version number. To download the new version of firmware, click the download logo.

A window will open that allows you to select the location where you want to save the firmware file. Select a location. You can name the file anything you want, or use the default name. Be sure to save the file in a place where you can locate it later.

Note: We suggest saving this to your desktop to make it easy to locate the file. When you have selected the location, click “Save”.
The download of the firmware is complete. To update the firmware,
follow the next steps in “Updating the Router’s Firmware”.

Make sure that you have the router Wired to your computer before you continue with the firmware update instructions.

first check whether the gaming ports for xbox have been forwarded in the belkin router or not....if not do it first....if you dont know the port numbers call xbox support and get the list of port numbers to be forwarded....
then enable DMZ for the ip address of XBOX in belkin router...
then enable UPNP in belkin router....
atlast Disable firewall in belkin router.... your XBOX will go online and GET UPDATE..... you can call belkin tech support of your country to assist you to forward ports for XBOX in belkin router... if you reside in USA/Newzealand/Australia/Canada you can call this toll free 1800 2 BELKIN(235546)...... or you can call my personal mobile... Have a Belkin wireless G router, had no problems for a long time. Received an Email from orange broadband upgrading my line to 8mg now all of a sudden, may be coincidence, can log on to home page, belkin...

try uninstalling the router... have the install disc handy to reinstall... once your back up and running. download belkin updates and encrypt your network... also run windows update. there maybe a fix included for your belkin vs windows platform.

What is the brand of the router your using? This information will be from the router that you have. Use a wired connection from the router,check your default gateway (ipconfig) and type that numbers in your address bar. You will be able to access your set-up page, look for wireless tab and look for wireless security. You will see there your WEP key.

Setup asistant will not work with Belkin wireless router & computer

Hi,
Try the manual method.connect router to pc with ethernet cable
1.logon to 192.168.0.1
2.Connection type ; PPPOE
3.type in your username@ISp and pass
4.Save settings
5.Configure wireless setting(SSID,Wep)
Configure pc with the same SSID and WEP
uplug the ethernet cable and check if your are able t connect wireless
