To reset the personal code you will need the permanent code supplied by Ford. This will be on a white card left in the clove box or in the owners manual bag. This can also be retrived if you go to a Ford dealer. Expect to spend around $50 at the dealer unless they can help you out. Once you have that do the following. Good luck.

1.Enter the permanent factory remote keyless entry (RKE) keypad code.
2.Press the 1/2 button within 5 seconds to activate the programming mode. Holding the 1/2 button for more than 2 seconds after activation erases the stored personal code.
3.Within 5 seconds, enter the new 5-digit RKE keypad code. The door locks lock and unlock to confirm the new code is programmed. Entering any new personal code automatically erases the old personal code.

2013 taurus with viper 211hv remote entry drains battery overnight.

If your battery is draining overnight and, you attribute it to the alarm, it could be a improperly installed starter kill relay. If the relay is wired to battery instead of ignition will do it.

How to set the keyless fob for 2005 pontiac g6

You need to program it with a special automotive computer. Call your local dealer and get pricing, mine will program up to 5 remotes for 25.00. If you need a new remote check out Amazon, they are about 12 bucks versus 180.00 at the dealer.

I am installing a Audiovox Car APS787A start keyless and alarm in a 96 taurus and i was wondering if there is any adapters or special tools needed

you might need a ford pats key bypass module for this. The way to tell is if your key is a thin black butted key or has a thick black casing on the end of it. if it has the thick casing then you will need one.
