Question about Epson RX620 All-In-One InkJet Photo Printer

1 Answer

The light cyan printer head is clogged

The light cyan printer head on my Rx 620 Emerson printer is clogged. I have ran the printer's head cleaning process, probably 6 times, and it helped for a few copies but then clogged up again. I have read where other printers can be cleaned with a special cleaner. Ths is a process where the printer heads are cleaned. Is this an option for the Epson 620? If not, any thing else I can do?

We are having the same issues, but with our black ink.

Same problem - yellow ink. So frustrated.  Can't remember how many Epsons I've bought/owned over the years but god strike me dead if I'm ever led into buying another one.  (Always thought that each brand had it's own issues and that the devil-you-know is better than the devil-you-don't. I'm ready for a new devil.

How to fix blue nozzle

Beings there are to "cyan" color heads, light cyan and regular cyan, your question makes little sense. Either way it sounds like both print channels are clogged so you are getting no clue output at all. FIrst check your cleaning pads and the parking pads. They are worn out or dried out by now most likely. One way to help the cleaning Process is to actually push the printhead into the pads when it is running a cleaning cycle. The idea is you want to get a pressurized line so its pulling maximum ink thru the lines. This often clears up many light clogs.

Hello there, my trusty Epson Stylus Pro 4000 isn't producing as wide a range of Cyan as it used to. Swatches of cyan going from 10 to 100 were fine and now when the swatch hits 70 it's pretty...

Sounds like the cyan is somewhat clogged. Honest advice would be to replace the printer. Inkjet printers are 95% of the time not worth servicing and it is typically economical to just replace.
If your looking for a printer with long term investment spend the extra money for a laser printer. Much easier to repair.
There is a reason that Inkjet's has no repair section in the A+ certification.
Comment back if you need anything else.

Suspected clogged blue ink tube

most of the time, the print head need to be replaced for your case... but there are cases whereby it's the ink cart that causes the ink clogged.. you can try replacing the cyan ink and do another round of cleaning.. but chances are slim...

Cyan ink wont come out

It is probably clogged. You need to using lint free swabs and vinigar to clean it. The vinigar disolves deposits of dried ink.

If this doesn't work then it can be a print head problem and that is usally cheaper to replace the printer than it is to repair it.

Canon MP510 skips and makes 2 small blank lines going DOWN the pages, in only cyan and magenta. The two lines show up on the Nozzle Check Pattern but only on cyan and magenta.

If you have lots of flashing error lights or electrical problems then it is likely to be electrical.

However, if like most... and your printer has just been left unused for some time? You probably have an ink clog on the cyan and magenta.

Provided it worked OK before a period of non-use? Then you just need to use a PRINT HEAD CLEANING KIT to unclog the tiny jets.
Magic Inkjet Flush usually works a treat on those!

Magicis ideal for unclogging the tiny jets on any Canon, Epson HP andremoving those horrible white lines which usually appear in prints whendried ink clogs several jets...

So if yours appears to be a clog? all you should need to do is to usethe Magic Inkjet Flush kit to soak the print head and you should beprinting again like new.

IP4300 only recognizes magenta OR cyan

1. Get compressed air
2. Run Printhead under HOT water, do not worry about contacts getting slightly wet.

3. Blow compressed air with straw attachment into screens where the cartridge nozzle sits on printhead. then let it sit and dry.

4. reinstall print test page

5. if this fails open paint/photoshop and print a page of the color that is not printing correctly. rinse and repeat until colors flow freely.

I have several ip4300s and I have yet to give up the ghost on a printer with a clog ujsing this method.
