Question about Jacuzzi RapidHeat In-Line Heater U395000 [ Bathtubs and Whirlpools,
I just installed an AMIGA PLUS Jacuzzi bathtub that came with a Rapd Heater. When I turn on the jacuzzi, the heater light doesn't come on. I checked to make sure the breakers didn't pop and they didn't. Is the light supposed to go on with the heater is on? (I am assuming yes) When does the heater go on, as soon as the jacuzzi jets are going or does it go on when the water temp starts to drop? I can't find info on how the heater works anywhere.
The light is supposed to be on when the tub is full of water and the pump comes on. Make sure the heater is plugged into a seperate breaker, it cannot be on the same line as the pump.
Look on the heater for a label. If your heater is installed on the discharge side of the pump it should say "pressure heater" on it. If it is installed in front of the pump it should say "Vacuum Heater" on it.
Once installed, fill the tub with water and turn the pump on. If it is installed in the correct position the light will come on when the pump turns on.
