Question about Central Dual Temperature Heat Gun Kit 3h201k

1 Answer

I have to relight my furnace once every 2 weeks or sometimes once a week. It relights fine but just stops. I thought a draft hits and comes back down n blows it out but I just tried sanding it again and will try a small wire and poke into the line. See if the works. Any other suggestions ?

There are products on the market today that are called by many different names, depending on your geographical location. The device Im referring to is a "anti-back flow stack damper" that are available from many HVAC suppliers, in different flue pipe sizes.
Also, there may be an adjustment on your control  valve to slightly increase the pilots flame.
In more severe cases, the unit may not be getting  proper gas pressure to the control valve, or that  valve could be malfunctioning.
Good luck...

Take notice of the wind conditions when it goes out. If there is a draft, the wind can come in the room with the water heat from the flue and blow it out. Or it can come in the room from another way and exit from the flue and blow it out.

Atwood 6 gal w/h won't stay lit longer than 12 minutes

After it is stored for the 2 weeks, do you turn water on to it, then bleed out any air through the taps before lighting it? If not try that and see what happens and let me know if any different.

Bosch 2700es natural gas unit keeps going out requiring a relight

Actually, this comment if coming from the math building at LSU!!!! How nice.

Any ways......You probably have a faulty thermo couple. It is the easiest and cheapest thing to do so try that. Most units have reverse threads so keep that in mind when removing. It is identified by a copper wire that leads to the main control unit. It should also be held in-place by some clips that just pinch the copper in place. Replacing the new one will be just the reverse of the removal.

Hope this helps

Pilot blows out on n.g. tankless water heater when it's windy

There are many anti-back-draft systems on the market, but there may be only a few that could possibly be Incorporated in to your application. You might contact the manufacturer for their product list of, flue pipe anti-back-draft devices.
Good luck...

Hi, I have an amanna sv80 natural gas furnace, I lost power to my home , my question is will the pilot need to be re-lit or will the furnace restart on its own? Thank you

The pilot light will be fine it is gas. The only way you need to relight pilot light is if you turn off the gas. The furnace should restart itself when the power comes back on.

Goodman Furnace m/n GKS90453BKAC

A constant red light (not blinking) indicates that the thermostat is not calling for heat. Of course you know it is but just to be safe, jump out R and W on the board. If it continues to do the same as you indicated, replace the board.
