Question about Central Dual Temperature Heat Gun Kit 3h201k

1 Answer

I have to relight my furnace once every 2 weeks or sometimes once a week. It relights fine but just stops. I thought a draft hits and comes back down n blows it out but I just tried sanding it again and will try a small wire and poke into the line. See if the works. Any other suggestions ?

There are products on the market today that are called by many different names, depending on your geographical location. The device Im referring to is a "anti-back flow stack damper" that are available from many HVAC suppliers, in different flue pipe sizes.
Also, there may be an adjustment on your control  valve to slightly increase the pilots flame.
In more severe cases, the unit may not be getting  proper gas pressure to the control valve, or that  valve could be malfunctioning.
Good luck...

I have no gasflow it sounds as if the gas is leaking at the feed rolls

there is no seal at the feed rollers around the wire as it requires the correct gauge wire and feed hole to slow down the loss of gas at that point ( easier for the gas to escape up the wire housing and out the welding end )
the gas is allowed to flow when the welding trigger is operated as that opens a gas solenoid that allows gas to the welding wire tube to exit past the shroud around the welding point

read you user manual well to be acquainted with the machines operation, and if there is a persisting problem talk with your supplier and consider a warranty service check

Is there any way to reconnect the wires back onto the heating element? I tried resoldering but didnt work...and a new one is not available...thanks

My first thought would be a crimp on connector. It is metal tube that you put the two ends into opposite ends of the tube and crush the tube at both ends.

Is there a seal between the nozzle and the tip? I have glue leaking out everywhere??

No, no seal. The heating element is just a heated tube with the nozzle simply threaded into its end. The heating element in your glue gun may be cracked. Or... possibly... you (or someone in your household) got it hot and laid it down and left it that way for a LONG time, and the melted glue backed up inside the heating element. A glue gun should never be laid on its side while hot but idle, especially for long periods of time.

Leaking water

Screws, lots of them on the back side of the unit. May be torx type. Once taken out, the top cover should come off.

Gas furnace wont stay lit

sounds like the thermocouple that senses when the burner ignites is faulty. when the burner is first lit it looks for a signal from the thermocouple telling it that it has ignition. i have had some luck removing the part (furnace off) and sanding it clean. this is located in front of one of the burners..Good luck

How to heat gun

When you remove old carpet from a room, you will most likely be left with remnants of glued-down backing on the floor. Getting the tile back to it's original smooth appearance can be a tedious task. You will need to make sure that you have a lot of patience and a lot of elbow grease. Start removing the glue by scraping the tile with a heavy-duty wallpaper scraper or a long-handled scraper. Do a quick sweep of the floor. Plug in your heat gun. Once it is heated up, you will want to place it at a forty-five degree angle to the floor and direct the heat on the remaining carpet backing. The carpet backing will loosen considerably as the glue begins to dissolve. The carpet backing will loosen considerably as the glue begins to dissolve. Use the wallpaper scraper to remove the loosened backing. Work in small sections. Once you have removed the carpet backing from the tile, wash the area with warm water and soap to ensure all of the glue and backing are removed. Continue until the entire tile floor is free of carpet backing.
