Do not replace plug if you are melting plug then you are putting a band aid where you need stiches, you have a over heating problem with that heater or outlet which could lead to a fire call a pro or stop using heater

My dryer will not turn on, there is current to electric plug.

The thermal fuse is located on the back side of the dryer. If you see lint built up that fuse can be melted. If it is melted then the motor won't run because that fuse is in the same circuit as the door switch. So if the fuse is good look for a bad door switch.

Wascomat TD75 gas dryer is not starting, just blow the fuse on the board inmediately

HI- If it is electric (220V) you may have a bad plug or outlet that is shorting the circuit breaker. Usually when there is a short in the unit it does not blow the breaker. Leave the breaker off and take the plug out and have a look for any burt or melted parts. If that looks ok then have a Tech look at the dryer, something is shorting or going to Ground and putting enough load to trip the fuse. Wouldn't keep trying to start it. I know, not much info but someone really need to be there to look at it in person. Best regards.

Loking for fuse box/relays diagram for 1994 Olds 88 Royale

Fuses (located on a swing down unit near the steering column or in the glove box) protect all the major electrical systems in the car. In case of an electrical overload, the fuse melts, breaking the circuit and stopping the flow of electricity.

I suggest check your 1994-Oldsmobile-Eighty-Eight-Owners-Manual for descriptions (page 223 and next).

Hope this help..

Kenmore drop-in electric range plug melted

Hello- Yes it can be fixed- first, make sure outlet is not damaged. If it is, it will need to be replaced. Next, plug is wired into a terminal block on back of unit. With care, this cord is easy to replace. And safer than it was before. A loose plug, or wire caused the fireworks. Let me know if this info helps- have more if needed. -Thanks- ED

Fuses no. 7 & 37 on my 318is K-reg Bmw keep MELTING.

you have to figure out where there is a short in your wiring--follow wires, look for broken, missing insulation--if it started in lights, look there first maybe. Also check the connections of plugs. Good luck it may take some searching.

you did not say how old? but I find that all it takes is one wire to get old, and starts to heat up because electric cant flow through it, then it gets worse and worse fast, then heats up the whole block, till the whole thing gets melted...bad thing is its happens slow enough that the standard 30 amp breaker won't trip during this slow melt down!

Dryer making a buzzing sound in the console but not running

Unplug the dryer.
Remove the rear panel.
Look on the exhaust vent for a failed fuse.
It will be narrow and about 1 and 1/2 inches long.
Remove the 2 wires and jump them together.
Plug in the dryer and start it.
If everything works OK replace the thermal fuse.

Look, usually in the back, of a good service manual. Manufacturer shop manuals, Haynes, and Chilton's usually all have wiring schematics.
