- I have the same ION Slides 2 PC scanner, mine scans but over-exposes everything! over the 50+ slides I've scanned, only a few are actually useable. Very dissapointing, and there does not seem to be any way to fix this problem. - cortezhomeMar 22, 2009
- My new Ion slides 2 pc refuses to do anything at all. On clicking "acquire from scanner" nothing happens. I assume that I need a 64 bit driver. On the Ion website there is a section for downloading 32 bit and 64 bit drivers, but the drivers aren't there. The Ion website seems to be very similar to the Ion scanner - nothing works. The solution would seem to be don't buy an Ion scanner whatever you do !- mglee320Mar 14, 2009

My ION Slides 2 PC works fine although it does overexpose anything part of an image that is in bright sunlight.
I found that sometimes I have to click the 'acquire' button a couple of times before it 'catches' and starts that component of the application.
