mine just did the same thing. bought it from walmart last month now i have to return it luckily they have a 90 day policy and can exchange for a new one instead of mailing it to xbox and waiting almost 2 weeks. my hardrive did however work in a different xbox just not on my console. sucks lost all my saved & installed games now gotta go back to blockbuster and re-rent the games so i can install them again! if you cant return yours, xbox will pay for your shipping you can print the shipping tags online from xbox.com
Global issue, Seems Playstation network is offline(CRASHED). Your date and time is off too and to wont allow you to update it via the internet. Your going to have to wait like the rest of us PS3 junkies till Sony fixes it

It took a week to receive a box from the company and about 6 weeks to get it back.
