The problem may not be the hinges themselves, but the extremely weak plastics they are fixed to: I strengthened mine with 2 special handmade stainless steel plates, voiding the useless warranty.

Hi, Just go to ur nearest computer shop and ask them to replace that hinge! the hinge becoming stuck and only solution would be to replace it! The crack can be repaired and repainted if there is no available parts in the market. Ur concern should be the hinges, replace it before it breaks the whole hinge holder!

To fix your laptop follow the steps given below.

• First of all as your hinges are broken you have to buy a pair of hinges for your laptop model.
• This hinge includes the whole assembly made up of metal with a part which attaches your screen to the laptop.
• Now you have to open up your laptop from the backside and disassemble the upper side.
• This will make you see the part which detaches tour screen from the laptop.Just remove the screws and your screen will be completely detached.
• now you can replace the damaged hinges with the new one.
• you have to remove four screws for one hinge.Two screws supporting the screen and two attaches the screen with the laptop.
• so remove these screws and replace the hinges and pack the laptop again.

And the lines are basically due to the movement of loose connector. So while fixing please fix the connector also.
