Question about iRiver H320 MP3 Player

1 Answer

H300 goes down

I have two H300 that both have the same problem, they say that they are full, no space left, but even though I remove all my files on them, they still show that there is no space left. Then they close down. It shouldn't be the battery, they aren't used that much, so it must be some kind of software problem. I've tried to find hidden files, but haven't found any. I'm surfing around to find a place where I can hand them in on service, but haven't found that either. Can anyone help?

No need to look any further, since you said you had deleted the files from both irivers, plug iriver 1 to pc...go to my computer...open iriver 1 and copy the iriver software to the pc (this is only temp)..now format the iriver 1....(this will totally erase everything)...once completed reinstall the software to iriver 1 from the pc....its like starting brand new out the box again.....put music / photos on it .....if you are satify with it repeat this all over again with iriver 2.....and if a battery is needed try this site or ebay....http://www.ipodbatterydepot.com/index.asp?en=google&maingroup=highvolume&adgroup=ipodbatteryreplacement&ad=2&gclid=CNPC49Pk9JoCFQ9Jagodnhe2eg

Remove some of your unwanted songs and free up some space to put new songs buy doing this:

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, etc. from MP3 Player
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal
Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on
"Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that
you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want,
release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now your mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

The only way to get extra space for more songs when your 8gb Nano is full is to eliminate some of the songs/pictures/files,etc that is on the player. There is no expansion SD card slot on the Nano. You can eliminate some of the songs/pictures,etc. by the following method: Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Says drive is full with nothing on it.

the driver may need to reinstalled, usually when it said disk space is full is because it is reading it, but the driver is not workng properly or

If you're able to see the drive under your my computers, you should be able to right-click it and click format. That should clear up all the space on the drive, even though there is nothing on there.

Do you mean voice or video recording......

whichever it is your problem maybe because of the fact that some players have only a certain limt of space alloted for recording.for example:in a normal 1 gb player with voice recording function only about 28 hrs(approx. 128 MB ) of voice can be recorded....even if there is plenty of space left in the player the player will not record voice once the full 28 hrs has been used................This recording facility can be reused by deleting the old recorded files.....

Hope it helps
