Question about Car Audio & Video
I have a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spider - Infinity Radio W032 and it was requesting the code and I don't know it. Now the radio just says off. Does anyone know the code to re-start the radio? Any help would be appreciated.
The code is a user code that someone had enter at an earlier date and when the radio loses power it goes into security mode, thats what you have right now. The only way to get this code is you have to call infinity tech services and a tech will walk you through the steps in reseting the code

Tips for a great answer:
The stereo in the Eclipse can be removed with nothing more than a Phillips screwdriver
Disconnect the negative battery cable from your Eclipse's battery. Remove the two Phillips screws along the bottom of the radio/climate control trim panel. Lift up the bottom of the trim panel to unlock the lower retaining clips. Work your fingers around the sides of the panel to loosen the other clips and remove the panel. Remove the four Phillips screws holding the stereo in place. Slide the stereo out of the dashboard and disconnect the wiring harness and antenna cable from the back of the device.
