Hi

I have this NC 10 for about 2 months now. It crashes after it just finish loading into window, which is around the start/after McAfee run. I will then have the blue screen with error message and then it will restart itself. This happen about 3 in 10 times when I switch on the PC.

Thank you for your time.

You would first need to make sure Windows does not restart automatically when a blue screen error appears. Then you can analyze the problem and fix the cause.

Have a look at BSDO error fixing.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

If it is one of these upgrades, I would go back to your older version unless there are drivers for your laptop suitable for win10 on the manufacturers web site.

The Machine Reboots after displaying Blue Screen With Error Message

Windows is entirely in control of any blue screens; so the hardware spec is not relevant yet.
can you try reading your windows event log immediately after a crash? :::Start>all programs>administrative tools>event viewer

you are looking for an error mentioning a filename... C:\windows\~somepath~\Minidump.dmp
If you get yourself a copy of WinDB (here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/gg463009)

You can then open WinDB and open/read that crash dump file (file open crash dump), and it will provide you with a filename of the driver that caused a problem (possibly even tell you what it was doing when it was called).. chances are it's one of the following causing the problem: Graphics Card drivers Storage controller drivers Motherboard drivers (Power Management related issue usually)
If you have the latest driver; then get the hardware checked out...
