Hey there od: temp files are ok to delete or they wouldn't be temp files. The win logo represents your defaut setting for that type of file. Thx for the w/h rating. and maybe try: click on:
Internewt Explorer>properties>settings: here you can: set the new page option to never then set your temp files folder to 1 mb. (use the slider thingy if you like) then >OK
Now click> Delete Files: checkmark the offline box(click) >OK If this takes more than one second then you are on the right track. Next click on the Clear History icon click OK at the popup. If this takes more than one second then you are getting somewhere.Change the Days to keep option to 0. At the bottom click OK then yer done. Except.....
Head to the recycle bin and once again as always > properties: then set that slider to 1 percent, While yer at it unclick the confirm option like you do with all other XP/2K programs.Click OK: then yer done OK? Except.... Get Ccleaner,, checkmark all boxes >Run Cleaner then go to: Registry (run that sequence} >scan for issues> fix selected issues (i never choose the backup option, no need) got that so far? Here comes the key...in Tools>Startup delete entry everything except your aftermarket firewall. Then get rid of all the programs you will never use with the uninstall option. NOW yer done. Well that's a start anyway...If anyone has something better for routine maintainence please post it here. You have an Acer congrats... mine is a peach.

PS I have seen this process free up over 10 gigs at one pass.(friends machine of course) that is more space than the hdd my OS resides on has in total! Run the registry part 3 or 4 times in a row. The more items you can delete in the tools>startup section the faster your pc will start and perform.

How do you delete an old email from your computer

A) Open the file location and delete it.

i. Right click on the mail you want to delete.

I get a "low disc space" error for my D-drive...go and check and the program says there is nothing to delete. I still have plenty of room left on my drive. The notice keeps popping up and driving me...

Hi.
Based on the information you have provided, the issue might be due to the Windows Temp files or due to any Virus.
First, we can try deleting the Windows Temp files.
We can do this be performing the Disk cleanup.
I have mentioned the link which has the detailed steps to perform the Disk cleanup.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310312
Please click on the above link to view the detailed steps.
Performing the Disk cleanup should resolve the issue.
If the issue still persists even after performing the Disk cleanup, then the issue might might also be due to a Virus.
However, you may try performing a complete System Scan by using the Anti-virus Application installed in the Computer.
Please perform all the steps mentioned above.
This should resolve the issue.
Hope this helps.
Please feel free to contact for further information and assistance,
