Question about Creative Labs Audio Cards

Bose Companion 3 and Realtek HD Audio Card

Greetings.

I just purchased a computer with a Realtek HD Audio Card.

I finally got the Bose Companion 3 speakers to work with it, but it's not working properly.

While ALL volume levels are at maximum (Windows, Winamp), I can hear the music as if the volume was low.

On ''Sound'' (through control panel) I have the ''Speakers Realtek High Definition Audio'' enabled (and default). The only other two options are: Digital Output Device (HDMI) and Realtek HDMI Output. Both are disabled.

I don't think this is relevant but my monitor is connected to my video card using a DVI port.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Realtek audio not install

If you are having problems with you sound
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers or uninstall
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
hope this helps

My sound driver CD is corrupted and unable to open, and i have to download most appropriate sound drivers for my PC but i dont know what to download and how to fine what driver is for my motherboard.

Go to "About this computer" in configuration option, and it should say what brand sound card you have. At any rate, the idea is to find out the brand of your sound card and then download the driver that corresponds to your computer model from their web page. Solution two would be to de-install the driver from windows (device manager in system configuration), and it should automatically reload the driver from WIN32 file backup when you restart your machine. In the same window, is an option that searches for most recent driver. you could try that as well. For example, mine is Realtek Audio. At the Realtek website, I can choose your driver according to your computer brand and model (i.e., Acer Aspire 5100). Same for any other device (ATI graphics, Celeron, Turion processors, Bison Orbicam, etc.)

Did you try another available IO/SLOT on the motherboard? If so, go to the realtek website and download latest driver for that model number. Install audio card then update the driver using the new version. I hope this helps.

Realtek HD Driver Instllation failure

Please explain more the position:
1. Is the hard drive properly connected in the computer?
2. have you booted the computer to recognize HD in BIOS?
3. Have you inserted bootabe Windows CD to attempt loading the operating system?
4. Has the Operating system loaded and failed?

Note: hard Drives are made in Standard Industry specs. If its good and connected properly it should work. If it is a second or third hard drive you are connecting, it may be connected wrong in data cables.
