Question about Creative Labs Audio Cards
I just purchased a computer with a Realtek HD Audio Card.
I finally got the Bose Companion 3 speakers to work with it, but it's not working properly.
While ALL volume levels are at maximum (Windows, Winamp), I can hear the music as if the volume was low.
On ''Sound'' (through control panel) I have the ''Speakers Realtek High Definition Audio'' enabled (and default). The only other two options are: Digital Output Device (HDMI) and Realtek HDMI Output. Both are disabled.
I don't think this is relevant but my monitor is connected to my video card using a DVI port.
Any help would be appreciated.
I think your spund drivers are not updated as per your requirement and they are not working properly....

click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check Realtek HD audio driver package. The package includes: driver setup program, drivers for Vista 32-bitedition.
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
