I have a 1981 model, it has an adjusting screw under the clutch assy. The screw is visibile (and probably accessible) without removing the clutch. It is a slotted screw with the numbers 1-4 around it. It changes the length of the stroke of the pump (though not by much). Mine is putting out too little oil.

How to adjust automatic oiler on 455 husqvarna

I'm sorry, but I'm not aware of any adjustments that can be made to the oiler. Just make sure the ports are clean so that the oiler doesn't get clogged and that the oil lines are all clear and you should be good.

I have a rancher 455 and it's not suppling enough oil to the bar. Is there an adjustment for this?

The 455 has a 3 position adjustable oil pump, the adjuster screw is up under the crankcase, sprocket side, you need a flat blade screw driver.

Unable to locate adjustment control for chain oiler model 345 husqvarna chainsaw

Not all 345 machines had an adjustable oiler, it is retro fittable if it does not, however if it hs an adjuster, the screw is located on the bottom of the saw between the cranckcase and the fuel tank, just below the sprocket, there will be an oil symbol and a - and + sign there, the pump is three position, for 13/15/18" bars.

Husqavarna rancher not oiling. I removed the chain and bar and cleared out ports on bar and still not oiling. I adjusted oil flow screw, but it didn't help. Someone said to remove the oiler, but...

Husky has pretty good exploded view diagrams on their website. I would try there to see if you can figure out how it gets removed.
Here is their helpful website:

good luck.

I can not find a bar to fit the rancher 55. This

The 50/51 and 55 always had the same bar mount, the bar was part no. 508912164 for 15" 508912172 for 18" and 508912180 for the 20", the oil is not fed through the bar adjuster hole.

Husqvarna 340 oiler not working

Hello again Rudy.
Please reply below (Add Comments) with the serial number of your saw then I can investigate a little further.
You can reply even when the question is closed. I am not certain how but I get email notification of your reply when done correctly. If equipped the oiler adjustment is below the crankshaft on the clutch side. Look up from the bottom. On the side of my 359 is an icon of a link of chain with a drop of oil above it. The oiler adjustment is aft of that and can only be seen from the bottom of the saw. The manual I saw said 3 position only with CCW (3 - 18 to 20" bar) most oil. Forcing it beyond the stops causes a lot of problems.

Is your serial number is between 07 18##### and 08 17#####?
Page 5 item 1 shows location of the serial number. Not all newer saws have an adjustable oiler. Please reply below.

Oiler on saw not pushing oil as fast as gas is there an ajustment screw or is it automatic and just needs to be cleaned

Your Operator's Manual does not address any oiler adjustment; an IPL for for your saw lists no oil adjustment screw.

Given the above I would conclude your saw has no operator adjustable oiler. If you think oil output is inadequate contact Poulan here:

The dash number of your serial number is the type.

A shorter bar will oil better. with no adjuster I recommend you not go longer. If the bar is getting hot make Poulan repair it under warranty!!!
